WMU (Women’s Missionary Union)
The Women’s Missionary Union seeks to share the gospel by promoting missions education, supporting our cooperative mission partnerships, and serving in a variety of local, state, and international mission projects.
If you would like to get involved, the following four groups are available depending on what time best meets your schedule. For additional information or if you are interested in joining one of these groups, please contact the church office.
Betty Abell Mission Group
This group meets on the 1st Monday of each month in the Conference Room. Their focus is learning about missions we can do.
Kim Wyatt Group
This group meets on the 2nd Thursday evening of each month rotating amongst the various member’s homes. Their motto is: Change a Life; Change the World.
Green Mission Group
This group meets on the 2nd Monday of each month in the Conference Room. Their motto is based on 1 Cor. 3:9 “For we are labourers together with God”.
This group meets on the 3rd Friday of each month 10AM – 12PM in the choir rehearsal room at the church. Please join us as we choose various mission projects through sewing, knitting, crocheting, etc., to spread God’s love.
Women of Grace
This group of women in their 20’s – 40’s, meets on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm in the parlor for the purpose of strengthening their relationship with God and each other. The group participates in various local mission projects as well.
