Serving You

Particularly in times of crisis and in times of transition, church family can be a blessing from God. Here are four ministries that provide care and support to members of our church family in good times and in bad:

• Gathered Prayer

Our church is a praying church. The last Friday of every month we gather for prayer in the Sanctuary. If you have a prayer concern or a person for whom you would like us to pray, simply e-mail that concern to our associate pastor at jholste@monumentheights.org or our administrative assistant at gjordan@monumentheights.org.

• Deaconate

Our Deacon Council is an arm of family care at Monument Heights Baptist Church. The deacons make hospital visits and keep in touch with our members in a variety of ways, such as sending cards, calling, and/or visiting.

• Media Ministry

The Media Ministry Team provides audio CDs of our worship services to church members who are homebound or living in adult care facilities. CDs are personally delivered within a day of the worship service.

• Bereavement Meal Ministry

The Bereavement Committee provides a home cooked meal to the family of a church member who has died or to a member whose loved one living in the same household has died. The meal, served following the funeral service, enables the family to relax and fellowship together at a time of need.
