Serving You

Sometimes life can be hard, and we need extra support and prayer. Particularly in times of crisis and in times of transition, church family can be a blessing from God.  Here are four ministries that provide care and support to members of our church family in good times and in bad:

Gathered Prayer

Our church is a praying church. The last Friday of every month we gathered for a time of prayer in the Sanctuary. If you have a prayer concern or a person you would like us to pray for, simply email that concern to our Associate Pastor at or our Administrative Assistant at

Our Deacon Council is an arm of family care at Monument Heights Baptist Church. The members of this group make hospital visits and keep in touch with our members in a variety of ways such as sending cards, calling, and/or visiting.

Media Ministry

The Media Ministry Team provides audio CD’s of our worship services to church members who are homebound or living in adult care facilities. CD’s are personally delivered within a day of the worship service.

Bereavement Meal Ministry

The Bereavement Committee provides home cooked meals to families of church members who have died or members who have a loved one living in the same household who has died. Served following the funeral service, the family is able to relax and fellowship together at a time of need.
