Sometimes life can be hard, and we need extra support and prayer. Particularly in times of crisis and in times of transition, church family can be a blessing from God. Here are four ministries that provide care and support to members of our church family in good times and in bad:
Our church is a praying church. The last Friday of every month we gathered for a time of prayer in the Sanctuary. If you have a prayer concern or a person you would like us to pray for, simply email that concern to our Associate Pastor at firstname.lastname@example.org or our Administrative Assistant at email@example.com.
Our Deacon Council is an arm of family care at Monument Heights Baptist Church. The members of this group make hospital visits and keep in touch with our members in a variety of ways such as sending cards, calling, and/or visiting.
The Media Ministry Team provides audio CD’s of our worship services to church members who are homebound or living in adult care facilities. CD’s are personally delivered within a day of the worship service.
Bereavement Meal Ministry
The Bereavement Committee provides home cooked meals to families of church members who have died or members who have a loved one living in the same household who has died. Served following the funeral service, the family is able to relax and fellowship together at a time of need.
