About Our Youth Ministry
The Monument Heights Baptist Church Youth Ministry seeks to enable, encourage, and equip young disciples to follow Christ until He returns. In accordance with the vision of MHBC, we seek to be the presence of Christ to the peoples of our community.
We welcome all youth to our Middle School Ministry for grades 6-8 and our High School Ministry for grades 9-12. We meet together for a variety of activities throughout the year, and separate for age-appropriate teaching and learning experiences.
If you are in grades 6-12 and are looking for an exciting youth group to be a part of, we invite you to check out the Monument Heights Baptist Church Youth Ministry. Our classes and devotionals are aimed at bringing us into a better understanding of God’s Word, and realizing how God’s love comes alive in our lives. Our intention is to provide teens with an avenue to experience God in everything we do. As humans, we don’t have the capabilities to save others, all we can do is hope that God’s reflection can be seen in who we are and what we do and hope that others can know Him through our interactions.
We meet on Sunday mornings for Bible study at 9:30 AM in the Youth Suite. On Wednesday evenings, we meet at various locations at 6:30 PM for discipleship studies and prayer. Once a quarter, we have a youth mission project. This summer we are planning to go on a mission trip June 15-20 to Appalachia to lead VBS and assist in a number of ministries.
